Wrightwood Senior Apartments

Wrightwood Senior Apartments is a 62+ Independent Senior Living facilities located in Chicago, Illinois, on the southwest side of the city. The building opened in 2010, and there are a total of 85 units. The building units consist of studios, one and two bedroom unfurnished, fully-applianced apartments, in which all utilities, except electric, are included!

Laundry rooms are conveniently located on each floor, with an activity center, fitness center, computer room, beauty salon, and community room located on the main level. In addition to having on-site management, there is 24-hour emergency maintenance service, as well as a monitored, emergency, pull cord system in each apartment unit. And as an added security, we have cameras that are located throughout the building and the outside areas. Our system is equipped with an intercom buzz in system, with camera, that will allow you to see who you are buzzing into the building.

The sitting area features a gazebo, a patio area with benches and tables located in the back of the building. This area also has a grill for outdoor fun. We have several supportive services that visit the property monthly, which offer programming such as presentations on informative/requested topics, exercise classes and therapy assessments, Bingo, movie nights, coffee meet-and-greets, Zumba classes and chair Zumba for seniors. Wrightwood has its very own Activity Committee, who plan many events along with their very own President of Counseling, for the residents.

For the seniors who like to adventure away from home, there are outings that are planned. We have a bus company that we use (TJ,) which picks the seniors up and returns them back to the building, once the outing has ended.
